		<description>Good post with useful info for those considering a home security system. One more step in the due diligence process would be to ask the security companies if they are doing the whole project from the interview, to the design, through the install and the monitoring all in house. No third parties to try and deal with.</description>

		<description>Thank you for the post.  Choosing a home security system can be confusing for people and clear overviews are very helpful.  I especially agree with your advice about asking local police.  I would recommend people take it a step further and ask the companies they are considering about their valid dispatch rate.</description>
